Children intend scaring elders and their friends, in turn they pretend getting scared. Here Azhwar enjoys considering himself an idaichi.

118. The Lord who holds a "Conch" that is reveared by everyone on his left hand, and plays delightful music on His flute, went as a messenger for the sake of the persevearent "Pandavas" who lost everything in the gamble and who could not even get a meagre 10 villages, fought the great Mahabharatha war. That dhootan is now showing "appUchchi".

119. The Valourous kings with strong shoulders , the great charioteers and all other warriors (Soorar) shiver in front of him. The 100 "Kouravas were destroyed by Him. To keep Arjuna"s bow always bent and ready to charge, KaNNan stood steady on the chariot as a Sarathy for him and made him win the battle. That KaNNan AMMan shows "appUchchi".

120.KaNNan,climbing on to the Kadamba tree on the banks of the hot steaming lakes, jumps into it, and then danced with the tinkling sound of His Kinkinis on the poisonous hood of the "Kalinga" snake which came out of it and played the flute. Such a magical master , this little KaNNan shows "appUchchi".

121. To kill the tyrant "Kamsan", KaNNan was born in the night and then reached "Gokulam",to elucidate the innocence of the illiterate YadhavAs and He is a terrible liar Himself. While the ladies were taking bath,He stole their pretty silk clothes. This KaNNan is showing "appUchchi".

122.  He killed "SakatAsuran", when he came as a cart yoked to bulls. YashOdA, wife of Nandhan who rules with absolutely no crime under his rule , ties Him to a Mortar with the rope used to churn when He was caught red-handed stealing  butter. Unable to bear the suffering of tying down,, He jumped and crawled between the two Marudha trees. This Lord who got Himself tied down is now showing "appUchchi ".

123. This darling child of "Devaki", ate the ghee , milk and curd that we had stored and kept in Gokulam"  is now scaring us by showing "appUchchi".

124. Whether YashOda, adopted Him or gave birth to HIM?, she goes by with Him even for the unwanted deeds. This Kutti Kannan who has thick black hair scares us by showing "appUchchi".

125.Abiding to the words of "Manthara", with her hunch back ,Rama gave away his precious elephants, horses, and the kingdom to Bharatha and went off to the forest. Lord who has the lovely eyes is now playing "appUchchi", closing his eye.

126.When "Gajendra" was caught by the groosome crocodile, with folded arms, he shouted, KaNNah, KaNNah,. Hearing the cry he came down immediately on the "Garudan" to save his. This majestic KaNNan is now showing "appUchchi".

PHALA SRUTHI

127."Vishnuchitha", composed these ten pasurams, describing how Rama, destroyed the "Rakshashas", with His Bow, and how he frighened us. Those who sing these verses will attain 'srivaikunttam and stay there forever.
