Exhibiting his utmost compassionate quality ( nirhethuka krupa- நிர்ஹேதுக க்ருபா) EmperumAn pulled AzhvAr from this samsAric bondage and gave the mantropadesam. Further, to reveal himself in a form that is easily accessible to anyone at anytime, he established himself in various ksEtams in archA form (idol form). AzhvAr starts his travel with TIRUPIRITI ksEtram in the himAlayAs and felicitates the lord along with the breathtaking scenes in the background

958. My dear heart! Go and reach the abode of ‘TIRUPIRITI’, with its natural springs, in the breathtaking himAlayan region, covered with gigantic water bearing clouds where the beautiful feathered peacocks enjoy dancing, over the mountain peaks that are hard to reach. It is in this fragrant place, surrounded by cool gardens, the lord who exercised volley of arrows against sugreevA’s foe, the vAnarA king vAli, with his mighty bow resides.

959. Oh!, my dear heart, take efforts to reach the abode of ‘TIRUPIRITI’, in the breath taking terrains of HimavAn where the the wild scary huge mountain like elephants roam around and the hoary toothed lions sheltering in the caves loiter around. It is here our EmperumAn (sarvaswAmy), who constructed the bridge across the mighty ocean using mountainous rocks with the help of innocent monkeys, that assisted him like nithyasoories, and brought about an end to Lanka and the dwelling rAksasAs headed by RAvana, abodes eternally.

HELPING NAPPINNAI
960. Oh! My dear heart, proceed and try to reach the abode of ‘TIRUPIRITI’, in the picturesque himavAn, where the mast elephants sleep clinging and bonding with their female counterparts on the fragrant ‘vEngai’ flower bed, scattered over the blueish hued mountain rocks as the bees hover around humming tunes. It is here our lord sarvEswaran who tamed and controlled the seven bulls possessing a cruel tone of voice, for the sake of his lady love with slender waist, curly locks of hair and well lined teeth, resides along with nappinai PiraaTTi. “piriti senRaDai nenjE”.(3)

HELPING PRAHLADAN
961. Oh! Heart, take efforts to reach the abode of ‘TIRUPIRITI’, in the beautiful mountains of the himAlayAs, where the sparkling rocky ruby gems that are broken from the mountains by the sharp curved teeth of the wild boar, swells and rolls down the water falls, appearing to be like hiranyan’s blood. It is here that Lord Narasimha, who, with his overflowing compassion, for the sake of his devotee PrahlAda, tore open the chest of his tyrant father hiraNyan with his sharp nails, bringing relief to the crowned dEvas, humbly bowing down before him, eternally dwells. “piriti senRaDai nenjE”. 962. My dear heart, makeup your mind and reach this destination of ‘TIRUPIRITI’, on the beautiful mountains of himAlayAs, where the mammoth elephants, pluck the tender shoots of bamboo and dipping it honey feed their tiny kids along with honey comb. It is here our lord possessing the divine feet adorned with jingling anklets, worshiped by the dEvas, reclining on ksheerAbdi, along with his consort Periya PiraaTTi, born out of the lotus flower, wearing the exquisite ‘mEkalA’, resides. “piriti senRaDai nenjE”.(5)

963. My loving heart, try to attain the abode of ‘TIRUPIRITI’, where the long fragrant creepers of mAdhavi[kurukkati] plant appears to have reached the sky, intertwining themselves with the clouds and have left the half bloomed flowers scattered everywhere. The bees that enter these orchards hover around singing merrily. The Lord almighty, reclining in a meditative state upon the most subservient thousand hooded ananthAzhwAn in tiruppArkaDal, hailed by the dEvas adorned with gem studded crowns, resides in the mountains of the himAlayAs compassionately for the people of the world. “piriti senRaDai nenjE”. 964. My dear heart!, go and reach the divine abode of ‘TIRUPIRITI’, in the midst of the HimAlayAs, where the well grown vEngai trees that almost touches the sky are entwined with thick clusters of pepper creepers grown from the ground. The majestic vEngai tigers, rest in the caves of the small hillocks that are surrounded by well bloomed orchards. It is here, the Celestial dEvas come and after having a dip in the water collect 8 types of flowers found there namely, sengkazhuneer (red water lily), shenbagam (champa), iruvATchi (naLLi-nuL-nAri - jasmine sambac), pAdiri (pAdEli), punnai (mast wood), kurukatti (mAdhavi-helicopter flower), karumugai (manOranjitam), tAmarai (lotus) and offer at the feet of the lord, as well as chant his thousand names. “piriti senRaDai nenjE”. 965. Get going to the praiseworthy place called ‘TIRUPIRITI’, my dear heart, in the mountain regions of the HimAlayAs bound with hillocks that are hard to jump and climb, covered with dense, thick dark canopied forest that gives the feeling of night, where hungry snakes lie yawning, in the bushes, waiting for their prey. Here, the dEvas descend along with Brahma and worship the lord, hailing his nAmAs like Oh, master, Oh paramapurushA, Oh! JagathkAraNA, and Oh shyAmala. “piriti senRaDai nenjE”. (8)

966. Oh! My heart, reach the abode of ‘TIRUPIRITI’, in the mountains of himavAn, where the well bloomed pollen rich beautiful flowers of the ashOkA tree, appears to be like the blazing fire, that makes the bees fly away in fear. It is here, our all gracious EmperumAn resides, who wards off all the adversities, for those who chant his thousand names (sahasranAma ) realising that he is the sole protector, ensuring that they don’t undergo any hardship. 967. These beautiful, rhythmic, metered garland of songs, extremely illustrious are tastefully and uniquely sung, about the EmperumAn who eternally resides in ‘TIRUPIRITI’, . Here in this kshEtram, the pythons move about like huge mountains mistaking the dark water laden clouds that make thunderous sounds, without moving for their prey. Those who sing these songs sung by kaliyan who governs the region of tirumangai spread with orchards reverberating with the sounds of the stripped bees will be protected from kArmic sins. (10)
