Sri HanumAn (Siriya tiruvadi) reaches Seetha PiraaTTi in Lanka as a messenger of rAma and reveals the identifications passed on by Him to make her believe and hands over the “kanaiyAzhi”, bringing a sigh of relief.

seRindha maNi mudichchanakan* silaiyiRuththu n^inai koNarndhadhu-
aRindhu* arasu kaLaikatta* arundhavaththOn idai vilaNGga*
seRindha silai kodu thavaththai* sidhaiththadhum OradaiyaaLam.* (2) 1.
318.O beautiful goddess with a timid nature and dark thick hair! [nerinda karuNkuzhal] , I stand before you with utmost servitude [nin adiyen]revealing an identity. Lord Rama took the bow and destroyed the tapasya of ParasurAma who opposed Him on the way back to Ayodhya after breaking the mighty bow in front of Janaka and marrying you. This is one proof of identity .[adayAlam] (1)

319.Oh, mother as gentle as the lily garland, possessing beautiful flowery eyes and the nature of a timid deer, please listen to what I have to say! Once during your intimate time, you tied and bound PerumAl with the strings of jasmine. This is one more proof[adayAlam]. (2)

320.An otherwise good hearted Kaikeyi with a disturbed mind under the influence of Mantara wished to propitiate her boons promised by king Dasaratha, who helplessly agreed to be executed. Immediately she called for rAma and said, “Dear son of this clan, leave to the forest on an exile”. RAma along with Lakshmana left to the forest [ dandakAranyA]. This is one more proof[adayAlam] (3)

321. Oh! Mother Vaidehi ! With a modest nature ,The ideal consort of the glorious King of Ayodhya [Lord rAmA]! Please hear this from me. Rama extended his friendship with Guhan who is skilled in using sharp spear[koor aninda vEl vaLLan] and lives on the bank of the Ganges[gangai tanmil]. This too is a proof [adayAlam]. (4)

322. Oh! Mother Vaidehi, with looks like a deer and speech as sweet as milk, listen to my statement. Treding along the stony path, while staying in the forest of DandakAraNyam, at the foot hills of the Chitrakoot mountains with it’s honey laden groves, Bharata prostrated and pleaded RAma to return to Ayodhya. This is yet another proof [adayAlam]. (5)

323. When you both were relaxing together in Chitrakootam, jeyanthan in the guise of a crow pecked your breast. Annoyed Rama threw an astra [athiramE kondu yeriya] at it. Fleeing to all worlds asking for help in futile, the crow came back and surrendered at the feet of Rama saying' O Clever One! [vithaganE iramAvO]! You are my refuge [nin ubhayam] . Taking pity, He spared it pricking one eye of the crow .This is one more proof . [adayAlam]. (6)
324: minnoththa n^uNNidaiyaay!* meyyadiyEn viNNappam*
ponnoththa maanonRu* pukundhu _inidhu viLaiyaada*
ninnan pinvazhi n^inRu* silaipidiththu _empiraan_Eha*
pinnE _aNGgu _ilakkumaNan* pirindhadhum _OradaiyaaLam.* 7.
324.Oh! Mother, with waist as slender as lightning! Please listen to your true servant! You wished and asked for a golden deer that came wandering in front of the hermitage. To fulfil your wish rAma took his bow and went behind it. Later, even Lakshmana followed leaving you behind. This is one more proof.[adayAlam]. (7)

325.Vaidehi! with thick black hair adorned with beautiful flowers! I request you to listen to the statement. Rama, the King of Ayodhya[ayOdiyar kOn], shared several incidents of his life with Sugreeva the king of monkeys[vAnara kOn], with equal fame who is equally concerned and appointed me in the search. Hence I could narrate some of them to you. I even have the Lord’s finger ring as a proof. (8)

326. On seeing the finger ring of Her dear lord, who broke the bow in the court of the renowned king Janaka, Seetha was delighted. Satisfied She tells Hanuman,’ The proof of all the incidences and the ring are true and convincing’. Overwhelmed with joy she places the ring on her head with respect. (9)

Well renowned PattarpirAn of Puduvai, sang in beautiful verses the efforts of the great Hanuman convincing the shy natured mother Vaidehi, by giving proof of various incidents in her life, as a true devoted messenger, sent by Rama,.Those who recite these pasurams will stay with the nityasuris[imayavarOdu], in Srivaikuntam.
