In the same way, while still in the dwarfish vAmana form, without any outside pressure and nothing to be led by karma, you took the tiruvikrama form and grew gigantically. Oh! Lord of lords, you brought down the arrogance and ego (ahankAra and mamakAra) of kings like mahAbali. Talking about your kalyANa gunAs ( divine attributes), your beautiful form and your wondrous deeds are all not by my own effort. It is all the hearsay from the vEdas and from the holy Vedic sages, that I repeat. (109)

Oh KesavA! Arise from your reclining state and speak. Did Your divine feet feel the strain and throb as you walked through the forest? (in RAmAvatAr) Did you become weary and tired as you lifted the mother earth when she was trembling with fear taking the form of the wild boar? (VarAham in varAhAvatar) What is the reason for you to lie down on the banks of the river kauveri which flows between the huge mountains and forest in Tirukkudanthai? Instantaneously when the Lord arose to reply, AzhvAr was overwhelmed by His act and started praising Him (vAzhi). #Even today we can see the Lord in a slightly raised position from His lying state in the Tirukkudanthai temple. The vALai fish jumps up and down. The kendai fish fearlessly swims gently under the shade of blue lilies.  The swAbadEsam or the inner meaning of the verse: Kooni is referred to the embodied soul. The hunch being the ego of the jeevAs. The    Lord rejoices in trying to eliminate the ego of the jeevAs like hitting the
