Surrendering himself to the lord, AzhvAr seeks His grace for total liberation from this samsAric world.

848.Azhi Sangu taNDu villum vALum Endu Seer kaiyya Seyya pOdil mAdu SErum mArba nAdanE | aiyilAya Akkai nOi aruttu vandu ninnaDaindu uivadOr upAyam nee enakku nalha vENDumE || (97)

848. Oh! Lord, possessing the divine hands that is the seat of the protecting weapons, such as the fiery disc, the divine conch, the mace, the divine sArnga bow and nandaka the sword against all kinds of enemies, Oh! Lord, having the divine chest( vakshathalam ), which is the eternal seat of the lotus born Periya  pirATTi , Oh! Lord of lords, I pray, you grant this adherent devotee of yours, the means (upAyam) of attaining you, shedding my body which is room to all diseases and get liberated thereby. 
AzhvAr's  apt choice of mentioning the five divine weapons (panchAyudam) that can fight the obstructions to reach him and pirATTi who serves as purushAkAram in attaining the servitude can be enjoyed here. In addition to these, if at all there are any other means, AzhvAr ask Lord to indicate it to him. (97)

849. Oh! Lord, with astounding powers, shedding my angers, abstaining from deceitfulness and controlling all the five sensual desires, I have got closer to you, with intense bakthi. 
I plead before you Oh! Lord, to bless me, reach that ecstatic state of your eternal abode, by removing the miseries that encircle this samsAric life of repeated cycles of birth and death, without fail. (98)

850. Oh! Lord possessing the complexion similar to the poovai flowers, Oh! Consort of Nappinnai pirATTi , I have heard from elders saying, the messengers of Yama are bent upon reminding my notables sins and engage my mind to undergo its dire consequences. In order not to happen like that, I have submitted my soul at your lotus feet (AtmasamarpaNam) and keep longing for your grace. Hence, I pray not to distance me from you. (99)


851.pirappinODu pEriDar chuzhikaNninrum neengum akdu irappa vaitta jnAna neecharai karai koDu ETTrumA | perarkariya ninna pAda pattiyAna pASanam perarkariya mAyanE enakku nalha veNDumE || (100)


851. Oh! Lord, elusive to one's own efforts (without your grace), neglecting the principles that can remove the great miseries alike the samsAric births, the aishwaryArthees (those who run behind material interest), unenlightened followers of the vEdas, deficient of the true knowledge, think themselves to be all powerful. I pray to bestow on me the paramabakthi that, like a boat can lead me ashore to thy divine feet. With the help of that paramabakthi, I shall ensure to take ashore these unenlightened followers who suffer from the triple miseries (tApatrayam- the distress arising from self, environmental and dEvas) of this samsAra as well. (100)


852.irandu uraippadu uNDu vAzhi Ema neer nirattamA varam tarum tiru kurippil vaittadAhil mannu Seer | paranda Sindai onri ninru ninna pAda pangayam nirandaram ninaippadAha nee ninaikka vENDumE || (101)

852. Oh! Ocean hued Lord, who is the reason for my eminence (Amma), I pray, "may you live long"! (VAzhi!). I have an earnest request towards you, who naturally showers your benevolent grace on the devotees. If at all, you wish to grant me a boon, please grant me this boon of not letting my senses to roam around, rather fix on you and constantly meditate upon your divine lotus feet. (101)
The beauty of this verse as evoked by the commentator here is,
EmperumAn questions AzhvAr, "when I have already granted bakthi for you, perpetually meditating upon me with the redeemed senses will lead you to paramabakthi. What more is your request from me?" AzhvAr's reply here is, " will that be possible without your proposed resolution (sankalpam ), only with my effort or strength"? Hence please intend to grant that perpetual thought about you on me. (101)


853.viLvilAda kAdalAl viLangu pAda pOdil vaittu uLLuvEnadu oona nOi ozhikkumA tezhikku neer | 
 paLLi mAya panriyAya venri veera kunrinAl tuLLu neer varambu Seida tOnral onru SolliDE || (102)

853. perumAl says inspite of His will, uninterrupted devotion is impossible till one is alive.
Oh! Lord of lords, reclining on the tumultuous ocean, Oh! triumphant Lord, who incarnated as varAha, Oh! My master, who built a dam across the wavy ocean, please show me a way, where i can shed this diseased body of mine, so that, the mind that has taken your lotus feet with unblemished love as the asylum can enjoy and meditate upon uninterruptedly. (102)

854.tirukalandu SEru mArba dEva dEva dEvanE irukkalanda vEda neediyAhi ninra ninmalA | 
 karukkalanda kALa mEha mEniyAya nin peyar urukkalandu ozhivilAdu uraikkumAru urai SeyE || (103)

854. Oh! Lord, possessing the divine chest, that is eternally desired by Periya pirATTi, Oh! DEvAdi dEva, who is the master of nithyasoories, Oh! Lord, who is the embodiment of the vedAs with its branches, The golden dark cloud hued Kanna! I yearn for your grace, to chant thy holy names and fix my mind on your Divya mangala vigraham (idol) and enjoy it perpetually . (103)


855.kaDum kavandan vakkaran karan 1( Siram avai iDandu kooru Seida pal paDai taDakkai mAyanE | kiDandu irundu ninru iyangu pOdum ninna porkazhal toDarndu veeLvilAdadOr toDarchchi nalha vENDumE || (104)

855. 
Oh! Lord wielder of different kinds of terrifying artilleries, who devastated the demons namely kabandan, dantavakran, karaN muraN etc, I plead before you to grant me the grace of a continuous association  with your divine lotus feet at whatever state I am in, be it standing, sitting, sleeping, or roaming etc. (104)


856.maNNai uNDu umizhndu pin irandu koNDu aLandu maN kaNNuL alladu illai enru venra kAlam AyinAi | paNNai venra inSol mangai kongai tangu pangaya kaNNa ninna vaNNam alladu illai eNNum vaNNamE || (105)

856. With a sheer intention to safeguard the earth, at the time of deluge, you swallowed and kept it safe in your  stomach, releasing it later. Receiving it as alms from King mahAbali, you took the earth and measured it, oh! Lord, who has the control over the governance of time. With your eyes like the lotus flower (pankayak kanna), you stay ever in the hearts of the melodiously speaking pirATTi. I have nothing else to ponder upon, but for the beautiful stature of your Divya mangala roopam (vigraham)(105)


857.karuttu edirnda kAlanEmi kAlanODu kooDa anru arutta Azhi Sangu taNDu villum vALum EndinAi | 
 toru kalanda oonam akdu ozhikka anru kunram mun porutta nin puhazhkku alAl Or nESam illai nenjamE || (106)

857. Dear lord, bedecked with the panchAyudas (all five weapons) in your hands, during the days of yore, you severed the head of  kAlanEmi, who violently came opposing you, to yamaloka. To relieve the cows at once from their imperilment, you lifted the Govardhana mountain as an umbrella, in front of all the cowherds and protected  them. My heart wishes to linger, ruminating and talking about all your divine qualities. (106)


858.kAi Sinatta kASi mannan vakkaran pouNDiran mA Sinatta mAli mA sumAli kESi dEnukan | 
 nASamuTTru veezha nAL kavarnda nin kazharkku alAl nESa pASam ettirattum vaittiDEn em eeSanE || (107)

858. Our Lord! KrishNa, with your grace, you brought down the lives of the demons such as the enraged *kAsi rAja*, 
vengeful *dantavaktra* ( who came and fought during the marriage of Rukmini), 
the foolish *paunDraka vAsudevan* (who wore all the symbols of krishnNa like the discus, conch, lotus garland,  Koustubam, yellow attire and claimed himself to be KrishNa ) 
furious *mAli* and *sumAli
*kEsi* ( who came in disguise as the horse, to kill KrishNa )
*dEnukAsuran* (who came in the guise of a donkey, to kill krishNa)
In the same way, the bakthi placed at your lotus feet can eliminate the karmas that stand as an obstruction against reaching the almighty.
Hence I shall not be desirous of anything else, rather fix my mind and meditate upon your lotus feet. (107)


859.kEDil Seer varattanAm keDum varattu ayan aran nADinODu nATTam Ayirattan nADu naNNinum | veeDadAna BOgam eidi veeTTrirunda pOdilum kooDumASai alladu onru koLvanO kurippilE || (108)

859. Even if the kingdom of Brahma, endowed with immortal wealth, kingdom of Shiva, bestowed with the wealth of bringing an expiration to all matters, entire territory of the thousand eyed Indra, is entrusted on me, even if I get to stay in an enthralled state having attained the realm of moksha, I shall never wish to think anything, other than always thinking about being united with my Lord.
To be ever ruminating about the union with Lord is always greater than even being next to the Lord is the idea of paramabhAgavatAs which is explained above.(108)
