PERIYA TIRUMOZHI 1.6 PASURAMS 998 TO 1007   *TIRU NAIMISHARANYAM*, *UTTAR PRADESH* *MANGALASHASANAM* (DEVARAJAN AND PUNDAREEKAVALLI) AzhvAr was constantly instructing his heart to reach the chosen abodes of the lord. Suddenly considering his total helplessness  (ananyagathithvam) and remembering the way he lead his previous life, surrenders himself at the divine feet of the lord at naimiSAraNyam under PiraaTTi’s (recommendation) purushaAkAram.  This is one among the eight swayam vyaktha kshEtrams. Here the lord stand as the forest itself as denoted by the word  ‘AraNya’ meaning forest. ‘nEmi’, refers to the outer ring of the chakra.
